MARTIN PETERS GINSBORG is a Creative Director, Copy Monger, Award-Winning Idea Wrangler and Passionate Baker of Danish Rugbrød [ˈʁuˌbʁœðˀ].

Martin is a co-founder of Creative Think Tank "KeepItStupidSimple" which he runs with longtime partner, Lars Mars Jørgensen. He currently ranks as one of the worlds top 20 copywriters according to D&AD rankings 2022 and Worlds Best Creatives 2023 by The Drum. And has a track record, from both sides of the Atlantic, for helping creative agencies grow, start-ups find their voice, and building global brands.

In other words, here's is a truly borderless creative thinker, tinker and problem solver. On his client list you’ll find anything and everything from global brands like Carlsberg and H&M, to intergovernmental organisations like the UN, israeli tech start-ups, and innovative agency structures, like ByTheNetwork and ALTO, which was named "Top 10 World's Most Innovative Companies" by Fast Company in 2019, and JOAN, named Small agency of the year 2022. Oh and of course his own skincare brand SkinAtWork.

As a former Executive Creative Director and Partner of established agencies and creative powerhouses, like Grey Nordic and Anomaly Amsterdam, Martin has shown time and again, how a combination of bold brands, big ideas and passionate creatives having a blast, can lead to impactful work, that resonates in culture and smashes glass ceilings.

A few examples of that? Sure. Martin has helped guide Carlsberg through multiple global brand launches, across several continents, and win global recognition (and a Sustainable Silver Lion in Cannes) for their plastic-reducing initiatives. During his tenure at Anomaly, the agency became AdAdges "Agency Of The Year 2017", and put global clients like Johnnie Walker, Converse and Diesel on the roster.

With award winning ads, like "Rocking Mamma's" for Rolling Stones Magazine, that made "your mama" the real Rock Stars of Pandemic, martin has shown how great commercial work can become part of create waves and headlines in PR. The project “Make Love, Not Walls” for by David Lachapelle brought DIESEL back to the forefront of a conversation about building walls — and how to tear them down. The depth and breath of work clearly shows that Martin's aim isn't just to win industry accolades, but more importantly, to ensure that the brands and institutions he works with take active part in a global conversation.

Over the years, Martin has worked for a number of legacy agencies, like VMLY&R, Saatchi&Saatchi, Mullen, BBDO, Mullen, McCann, Grey, McGarryBowen, D'Arcy and Wunderman. He has lend a hand at production companies like Rabbit Films and GoodPeople, and over the years helped a number of global brands like Adidas, Budweiser, Captain Morgan, Carlsberg, Converse, Diesel, Johnnie Walker, Reebok, NFL, Marriott, Verizon, TNT, T-Mobile. And he has a number of Pencils and Lions and Super Bowl commercials to show for it.

Martin is also the father of two rather energetic boys, and has laminated license to marry people.

Martin has been a creative driver of both short films documentaries, like "Kill Your Darlings", which helped establish tech start up Togetherr, and viral hits like “Gentlemen’s Wager” which won "best branded film" at Short Shorts Film Festival and enjoys a 8/10 rating on IMDB . The internationally acclaimed “Ode to Lesvos”, which led to a Nobel Peace Prize nomination for the cast. The film was showcased at Encounters Film Festival, CopenhagenDox, AgeanDoc, Diversity In Cannes, SHOTS Slovenia, Athens Short Film Festival, Filmfestival Kitzbuhel. The artistic opera film "The Boxer" won best docu short at Sydney World Film Festival. And most recently, with the launch of "The Balance" on YES network, Martin has added TV show writer to the list.
